Iina Laitinen, Senior Director PET Imaging at Antaros Medical, is presenting later this week at the 4th Obesity & Weight Loss Drug Development Summit. Iina will be discussing how imaging can be used to assess not only body and muscle composition, but also how advanced imaging techniques can provide insights into end organ effects and other downstream conditions.
Her talk, ‘Underneath the lost kilos: Body composition and beyond during weight loss’ will provide an overview of the most commonly used imaging-based body composition methods (DXA, CT and MRI), and how MRI in particular can be used to look deeper into muscles and the possibilities for integration with other measures of function. Iina will also discuss a couple of examples of how advanced imaging can go beyond this and look at other health effects during weight loss that can provide valuable insights and evidence in trials with shorter durations and smaller patient populations.
To hear more, join us at the Obesity & Weight Loss Drug Development Summit on Wednesday 15 July @ 11:30 EDT to hear Iina’s talk. The Summit takes place from 14-16 July in Boston, MA.
