Whistleblowing
We are committed to doing business the right way at Antaros Medical. It is important to us that everything we do is done ethically, transparently, and while maintaining quality. And so we are equally committed to ensuring an environment where whistleblowers feel safe to raise the alarm if something is wrong.
If someone witnesses or suspects misconduct or wrongdoing linked to Antaros Medical, they can report it immediately through a dedicated whistleblowing channel. The whistleblowing channel can be used to report something that has happened in the past, is currently happening, or if there are reasonable grounds to believe is at risk of happening in the future.
You have the right to blow the whistle without risking your confidentiality or anonymity, and without fear of negative consequences. This right is protected under SFS (2021:890) Act on the protection of persons reporting irregularities, which is based on the Directive (EU) 2019/1937 on the protection of individuals who report breaches of Union Law, namely the Whistleblower Protection Directive. The protection covers not only the whistleblower, but also extends to anyone indirectly related to the reporting e.g., those who assist with the whistleblowing report.
The Antaros Medical whistleblowing channel is hosted through an external platform called WhistleSecure. By reporting through this channel your personal data is protected, you are covered by full confidentiality, and you also have the option to stay anonymous, if desired. Whistleblowing can be done at any time via a written report, audio recording, or through requesting a physical meeting. All whistleblowing matters are received and handled by the recipient function within Antaros Medical, which has been formed solely for this purpose to act independently and with integrity.
