Olof Eriksson, Associate Professor at Uppsala University, Senior PET Imaging Director at Antaros Medical, and CSO at Antaros Tracer, will be presenting today as part of the 57th Annual Meeting of the Scandinavian Society for the Study of Diabetes (SSSD2023). This year’s meeting takes place from 24-26 May at the Steno Diabetes Center Aarhus in Aarhus, Denmark.
Olof will give a prize lecture in connection with his having been awarded the 2022 Johnny Ludvigsson prize from Barndiabetesfondens for Young Child Diabetes Researchers in Sweden. His talk is titled ‘PET imaging in diabetes’ and will cover his work developing technologies for non-invasive assessment of important aspects in type 1 diabetes (T1D) pathology, such as insulitis and beta call dysfunction. Olof will present today, May 25 at 9:45 CEST.
