Over the next few days, Antaros Medical’s Chief Scientific Officer, Lars Johansson, will participate in both the 19th Global Cardiovascular Clinical Trialists (CVCT) forum and the Metabolic multi Organ Science Accelerating Innovation in Clinical trials (MOSIAC) forum.
The CVCT forum brings together stakeholders with a large variety of backgrounds and expertise to discuss cardiovascular, cardiorenal, and cardiometabolic clinical trials. This year’s forum takes place from 1-3 December in Washington D.C. Lars will present today as part of the session, Trial opportunities for CV disease as part of multi-organ systemic diseases, from 8:00-10:00 EST. His talk, called “The potential of integrated clinical imaging of heart, liver and kidneys in systemic diseases trials”, will discuss how imaging can be used in clinical trials to allow for investigating effects in multiple organs and the potential benefits of such integrated imaging techniques. This session will also include the CVCT Forum Multi-Stakeholder Moderated debate: How to de-silo trials with CV and multi-organ endpoints, in which Lars will participate alongside a number of other stakeholders.
The MOSAIC forum will bring together cardiology, endocrinology, and hepatology clinical trialists, industry, regulatory experts, payers, patient representatives, and other stakeholders to discuss metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH; previously called non-alcoholic steatohepatitis or NASH) diagnosis and management. This inaugural forum will take place from 5-6 December in Washington, D.C. On December 6, Lars will take part in the Imaging tests in MASH trials session, giving a talk titled “Integrated clinical imaging of the heart, liver and kidneys”, which will cover how clinical imaging can be implemented in a way that allows consideration of multiple organs, and therefore cross-organ effects, in a non-invasive way. Lars will also participate in the MOSAIC Moderated Multi-Stakeholder debate: What imaging tests are acceptable for approval.
