Novel PET-CT data on imaging of pulmonary inflammation at EANM’21

Olof Eriksson (Director, PET Imaging at Antaros Medical and associate professor at Uppsala University) and his colleagues at Uppsala University are presenting novel PET-CT data on imaging of pulmonary inflammation at the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) congress 2021. Their work aims to investigate the use of [68Ga]Ga-DOTATATE as a positron emission tomography (PET) marker to visualize inflammatory macrophages. The presented results show promise for this PET tracer as a potential biomarker in clinical studies in the fight for new treatment in inflammatory diseases such as severe lung disorders.

The abstract is available as an oral presentation on demand in the online EANM’21 congress platform
