Lars Johansson, CSO @ Antaros Medical is an invited speaker at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) Annual Meeting 2023. Lars’ talk will form part of the Image-In’ what non-invasive techniques can do for diabetes research and care symposium next Thursday.
Advanced imaging techniques such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) support research in metabolic disease. There are several opportunities for imaging in this field, particularly for further understanding how these drugs work. During the talk, Lars will go through some examples, including how PET can be used to look at target engagement and receptor occupancy of incretins, visualising insulin resistance, and the effects of diabetes in the brain.
